Brent has over 20 years of experience in the financial markets, comprising of a variety of roles. After graduating with a BS in Finance from Louisiana State University, he worked as a financial analyst and investment advisor for Wall Street firms, including JP Morgan. He helped to advise high-net-worth clients, foundations and endowments on portfolio construction, asset allocation and ran cash management strategies for businesses of all sizes.

Over the past decade, Brent has transitioned his focus solely to the private equity space. After many years at a boutique PE firm, his entrepreneurial nature led him to form his own company, Cypress Capital, LLC. He now appreciates the opportunity to work in every aspect of an investment’s life cycle. Brent is actively involved in deal sourcing, due diligence, fundraising & capital structuring and does not shy away from staying immersed in ongoing operations of all portfolio investments, if need be. As a General Partner, he has helped close over $200M in debt & equity for transactions in an array of industries including technology, oil & gas, commercial real estate as well as both single & multi-family real estate developments.

When not analyzing investment opportunities, raising capital, or overseeing portfolio investments, Brent enjoys spending time with family & friends, traveling, fishing and playing golf.
